Rave Reviews

"…Berman and Fromer demonstrate their wonderful and caring attitudes toward children and providing food for children. Feeding is more than getting food on the table. It is the whole nurturing environment that the parent or child care provider sets up around food."
—Ellyn Satter, author of Child of Mine

"Comprehensive and practical…Parents will love it. Providers will love it!"
—Merle Lawrence, Project Director, California Child Care Initiative Project

From the Author's Introduction

"There's more information available on the relationship between food and health than ever. Some of this information is dependable and some falls more into the category of urban legend, but what is clear is that confusion reigns. My goal in writing this revised edition of Meals Without Squeals is to offer you solid and practical advice about feeding children…advice that's based not just on reviews of research articles and official recommendations but also from many years of experience in the business of feeding other people's children.
—Christine Berman
